The Noida Stadium has reopened for athletes and the public with some given timings and the compulsion to download Aarogya Setu. The stadium has opened after a gap of 4 months due to Covid-19 outbreak.
Keeping the pandemic in view, the stadium closed on 15th March. The officials said that certain guidelines are ensured for the visitors. It says that the installation of the Aarogya Setu app on the smartphone is mandatory for entry. In order to avoid the spread of Covid-19, this decision was better for all.
Aarogya Setu is a mobile application which is developed by the Central Government. This is to connect important health facilities with people over the fight with COVID-19.
Guidelines for the entry in the Noida Stadium
The Noida authority issued the guidelines for the stadium. Furthermore, the guidelines also say that the stadium will open in two slots, that is, 5 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 8 pm.
Athletes must bring their sporting equipment for games such as tennis, badminton, ball, squash, etc. Moreover, they should carry their drinking water and very essential sanitizer. The maintenance of social distancing is a must. One should not leave masks at home. Masks are mandatory too.
However, there was nothing stated in the guidelines about visitors regarding the need to download the Aarogya Setu app. The Department of Health is making sure for everyone to use this app as it helps in maintaining distance.
