A 32-year-old man flashed a 6-year-old girl after going to her home to install an electricity meter in South Delhi. The girl informed her mother, who then reported him to the police.
The man, Raju Srivastava, worked for Sugs Lloyd Energy Pvt, a BSES contractor for meter installation. On Saturday, October, 10, he went to a house in South Delhi to install the electric meter. The young girl was standing near the door when he came closer to her and flashed her. The girl informed her mother soon afterwards, and the mother reported it to the police.
DCP (South) Atul Kumar Thakur reported that a team of cops, including a female officer, reached the house to talk to the mother and the girl. They arrested him. Meanwhile, Sugs Lloyd, stating that they have a zero tolerance policy, fired the man who flashed the girl. Police also registered a case under the POCSO Act and IPC section 354 A (sexual harassment).
