A man with a criminal record hurt himself by breaking glasses in the police station and set an ambulance on fire when the police called it for his treatment. The incident occurred in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh.

The man, Ongole Taluk, has a criminal record, according to the police. While he was inside the police station, he broke a few glasses. That resulted in him hurting himself, so the police called an ambulance to treat him.

However, once inside the ambulance, he took some cotton inside . Then the ambulance was on fire. The driver of the ambulance and the technician inside jumped out to save their own lives immediately. But Taluk refused to leave the ambulance. In fact, he said he was ‘dying happily’, but police forced him out of the vehicle. The ambulance is now in ruins.

In addition to his criminal record are now two more cases for damaging the police stations as well as the ambulance.
