Farmers began the Dilli Chalo protest against the farm bills and plan to continue until the government takes back the laws. They have even prepared rations to last a long time in order to ensure they can stay as long as possible. As they marched from Punjab to Haryana, the Chief Minister of Haryana stated Punjab CM Singh was responsible for the Dilli Chalo protest. He further alleged that the CMβs office-bearers led the protest. He also thanked the Haryana police for holding off the protesters. Lastly, he claimed that no protesting farmers from Haryana joined in.

Punjab CM Singh has not responded to phone calls from Khattar in the past three days. He then said that he does not plan to do so either because he did not like dishonest behaviour. After the protest began and cops used tear gas at farmers, Singh also demanded that the Haryana government stop its brutal attack on them.
In response to the CM, farmers stated strongly they were definitely from Haryana. Some of them showed their Aadhar cards too. One of the farmers, Ajit Singh, even pointed out to several people of his own villagers. There are at least 1,500 farmers from Haryana so far and they expect more to join soon.
