Eknath Khadse quit BJP to join NCP, and blames Devendra Fadnavis, the former CM of Maharashtra for β€˜destroying’ his life. Khadse was a prominent leader from BJP in the past, but BJP dropped his name as a candidate, taking his daughter instead, who lost.

Earlier, there were rumours flying around that he may quit. However, he only stated that he would not talk about it.

According to Khase, Fadnavis played a major role in the resignation of Khadse quitting BJP. He talked about how he was dropped as a candidate during state elections last year. Moreover, he apparently falsely framed in a rape case. Hence, it felt like Fadnavis was forcing the resignation from BJP on him. He has apparently said in his previous speeches that he was doing so.

In fact, for the last four years or so, he felt mentally tense about this. Although he wishes he did not have to leave the party, he feels that it is necessary in order for people to recognise his hard work and dedication.

I spent four years in mental tension. I repeatedly said in my speeches that you are forcing me out of the party.

Hence, Khadse is now joining the Nationalist Congress party.
