A BJP MLA from Indore, Ramesh Mendola, assured a house to a boy who sold eggs from an egg-cart after members of the Municipal Corporation of Indore reportedly overturned it.

A BJP MLA from Indore, Ramesh Mendola, assured a house to a boy who sold eggs from an egg-cart after members of the Municipal Corporation of Indore reportedly overturned it. The 13-year-old boy, Paras Raykar was extremely upset. The MLA is going to provide him house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

The incident took place on 22nd of July when Municipal Corporation workers came to seize the egg cart. In fact, they warned him to remove it or give them Rs.100 as a bribe. When he refused, they overturned his cart. During the incident, four cartons of eggs broke – worth Rs 7,000 to 8,000.

A passerby, Vikas Rao, recorded this incident and uploaded it on social media. He noted the terrible behaviour of the workers. Thus to help the boy, Mr.Rao uploaded the video.

Additional aids to the Paras, boy with egg-cart, and his brother

BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola gave the boy a bicycle, four pairs of clothes and Rs 2,500. Jyothiraditya Scindia also offered help and support.

Congress Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh promised to pay for the teenager and his brother’s education. Moreover, he will give him Rs 10,000 for financial assistance.

Furthermore, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also offered their support.

Also, Indore Press Club president Arvind Tiwari and others helped him by providing monetary assistance.
