A blast from crude bombs took place in the Birbhum district of West Bengal on Tuesday. The house in which the blast occurred was situated in Jalalnagar village. According to the police, the blast occurred because crude bombs were stored inside the house in Birbhum, West Bengal.

Some of the villagers told the police that the house in which the bomb blast took place, belonged to a Trinamool Congress worker, named Sheikh Shaukat. However, he apparently has not been living there for a very long time.

Furthermore, he added that he has no idea who kept the crude bombs. He does not know who went into his house or when.

Though no one suffered from injuries, the investigation will continue.
