Police in Hyderabad booked a case against an aviation academy for cheating students, after a student alleged they did not provide facilities she paid Rs.80,000 for.
A student of the aviation academy based in Hyderabad filed a complaint with Malakpet police. According to her, the academy collected Rs.80,000 not only from her, but from other students as well.
With that money, the academy assured the student that they would provide training as well as jobs in the aviation industry. This also included a six-month vocational course training diploma in aviation, hospitality, customer services, grooming and ground staff handling. Moreover, the academy would provide two uniforms, study material and a make-up kit. Although students paid up the amount, the academy did not follow up on their promises.
Hence, the student filed a complaint. Thereafter, the police booked a case. Malakpet sub-inspector Ch Srinivas Reddy reported that the case is now under investigation.
