Travancore Devaswom Board requested Lord Ayyappa devotees to chorus from visiting Sabarimala Temple on October 17 and 18 in view of the persevering with heavy rainfall within the state, particularly in Pathanamthitta district and the dangerously excessive water degree in Pamba river.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday has issued a crimson alert in 5 districts, an orange alert for seven districts and a yellow alert for 2 districts of Kerala amid steady rainfall being recorded in varied elements of the state.
